As explained on the web site cover page, EY's EIM provides information on cross-border investment
projects and trends throughout Europe. The monitoring and tracking is performed by an external team
of foreign direct investment research specialists at Oxford Intelligence.
Companies can subscribe to this service by calling or e-mailing EY or Oxford Intelligence. You will
then be provided with a user name and a password so that you can access to the EIM web site.
Please note that, before subscribing, you can apply for an EIM trial to identify whether EIM data
is suitable for your purposes.
The web site also provides the option to submit information on your company's cross-border
investment projects in Europe.
To summarize, EY collects personal data in the following cases:

EY will not communicate, sell, rent or lease your personal information to third parties other
than Oxford Intelligence and its technical IT provider and unless required by law enforcement
action, subpoena, or local law. EY will only use your personal data to provide you with EIM services.
To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, EY puts in place appropriate physical and
organizational measures to safeguard the personal data collected, such as firewalls, an
internal access policy and passwords. For technical reasons, the web site is hosted in the
UK. Oxford Intelligence is required to keep confidential the information received on
behalf of EY and will not use it for any purpose other than to carry out the services
they are performing for EY.
Changes to the statement
If there are updates to this Privacy Statement, we will post those changes and update
the revision date in this document.
Merger and Acquisition
In case of a merger or corporate restructuring, EY will make every reasonable effort to
notify you in the event that we need to share some or all of your personal data in order
to continue serving you.
